so just don't you think that this news section is a complete waste of space, i just wanted all of you to know that the website overhaul has begun!  in the near future, my internet home will be so different, you won't even believe that i live here!  it won't be like those commercials where you just fit a new bathtub over the old one.  this will be the equivalent of dropping a new house on top of the old one, like some kind of cartoon.

you know, it occurred to me that this part of the site wasn't useful unless i actually -updated- it.  so now you can expect that news will actually be appearing here regularly, or at least as regularly as news happens.

so here's something old and something new, something borrowed (if you count linking to the page as borrowing bandwidth) and something blue (if you count my disposition more than half of the time).
